This absolutelly great news. I&#8217;m looking so much forward to play with this binding (hint, hint, Henning).<\/p>\n<p>At <a href=\"http:\/\/www.laerdal.dk\/dummynode.asp?subnodeid=8609321\">work<\/a> we are using <a href=\"http:\/\/sqlite.org\">SQLite<\/a> with great success. I think that <a href=\"http:\/\/sqlite.org\">SQLite<\/a> fills an important, but somewhat overlooked, niche: a small, efficient, and easy to embed relational database with fairly complete support for SQL.<\/p>\n<p>I hope that <a href=\"http:\/\/www.itu.dk\/people\/hniss\">Henning<\/a> plans to relase it under a license, so that it might be possible to use the binding in a closed source program&#8230;<\/p>\n<p>Together with <a href=\"http:\/\/mgtk.sf.net\">mGTK<\/a> this binding will open up lots of interesting possibilities.  For instance, Henning talked about using the binding for poking into the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.gnome.org\/projects\/beagle\/\">Beagle<\/a> database.  Nifty stuff.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Update 2005-01-28:<\/strong>Henning has given me access to his <a href=\"http:\/\/www.abridgegame.org\/darcs\/\">darcs<\/a> repository for the binding.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Stop The Press!
